STEP BY STEP

Most common excuse why people can't get into shape is "But I just don't have time". Yes, we have all said it before, and I have done the same. But no matter what you do, where you are, how busy you are, you CAN make time - you will always find time for the things that matter to you! Of course it always depends on your goal - you must have realistic and specific goals. Your long-term goal might be to loose 15 kilos, but this doesn't sound really motivating, right? Keep this goal in your might, but don't forget to make short-term goals too - decide to loose 2 kilos in one month. You will achieve it more easier and once you do, it will motivate you to loose another 2 kilos and then another 2 and so on. Little wins matter and they will motivate you to set another goal and reach it. So even if you are busy with your three jobs, daily meetings or two kids, you can make time to achieve goals - just set yourself short-term goals that can be achieved and try to motivate yourself.

Don't forget, sometimes there will be those days where everything just doesn't go by your plan, you sleep in late, can't get your act together, you procrastinate and so on. And those are the days that matter - everyone has the ability to achieve goals when they are feeling great, but what determine success from failure is how we act when shitty days happen. You don't need to conquer the world, but at least you can do your best. So anything is better than nothing! A 20 minutes walk, quick run or a shitty gym session are all better than spending time on your couch and watching tv or scrolling through your facebook newsfeed. Try to get the best of every situation and motivate yourself, little wins matter! :)

5 little tips that might help you to stay motivated:
- talk about your goals ~ tell your friends what you are trying to achieve and I am sure they will encourage you or even help you to achieve it. It will also keep you exited and accountable!
- step by step ~ Rome wasn't built in a day, right? So set little goals but keep the big picture in your mind.
- get rid of the things that might prevent you achieve your goal ~ here I refer especially to the food; get rid of chocolates, candies, chips, cookies and other food that will not help you loose weight and replace it with healthy ones like vegetable, fruit, cottage cheese, cocoa, nuts etc.
- compete with yourself ~ don't compare yourself to others, it is you who you should compete with and try to become better than you were yesterday.
- buy new clothes ~ this might work better for women, but still - buy new clothes that you absolutely want to wear but buy it in a bit smaller size - this will motivate you to loose that extra pound to shine in that dress :)
